Red Nose Day - Donate

Seven years ago, inspired by Red Nose Day Founder Richard Curtis, Cinema Lab CEO and former BAFTA New York Chairman, Luke Parker Bowles co-created a yearly event to support Red Nose Day.

In essence,  we want to help end child poverty, and the best way we know to help is by raising funds for Red Nose Day, which serves communities here in all 50 states and around the world. Money raised goes to the Red Nose Day Fund, which supports programs that keep children in need safe, healthy, and educated across the world with a particular focus this year on Ukraine.

Luke, being both competitive and ridiculously lazy, decided the best and most enjoyable way to do this was with an EPIC challenge: We decided to watch movies. A lot of them. A marathon. In doing so, we have created the #1 Red Nose Day workplace fundraiser in the USA, raising over $120,000 since inception – ALL GOING TO KIDS.

This year, Cinema Lab is donating one of its theatres – THE VILLAGE IN SOUTH ORANGE to host a movie marathon based on Red Nose Day’s founder’s work, Mr. Richard Curtis. A full day of movie watching culminating in an auction of various items from Richard’s film from NOTTING HILL to LOVE ACTUALLY, signed by the man himself.

Of course you cannot all make it to South Orange, NJ, but you can still donate above and we will p

rovide a livestream so you can check in on us all through the challenge. There will also be a bevvy of surprise guests from Richard’s films who will be introducing the films and popping up during the event. Cinema Lab plans to increase this across all their theatres over the next few years and further than that and YOU can be a part of the first In-Theatre version. So, support kids, support the Cinema experience and come back and join us at the movies!

We desperately need you to click on one of our teams and donate to support our efforts! With your help, our endeavor has the potential to help people living in extreme poverty. Without it, Luke is just a guy, sitting in front of a screen, asking it to help him…

Your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
